Our Founder
Founder and Principal Johannah Chase brings two decades of experience working to improve opportunity and outcomes for youth and families. Johannah has led ambitious social change initiatives in philanthropy, state and city government, higher education and K12 schools. Most recently, she was a senior program officer and team leader at the Walton Family Foundation. Previously, she was CEO for Special Education for NYCPS, where she led reforms that improved access and outcomes for the city's 210,000 students with special needs. She began her career as a math teacher and track coach in Brooklyn.
